I spent a week at this hotel with my family and we were very happy. There were plenty of activities for our 9- and 11-year-olds – ping-pong, table football, air hockey, a games console, a small pool, a jacuzzi… for me, it was the sauna and salt cave. We had a wonderful time. The staff kept the place clean. It was warm, which isn't always a given. I found the menu friendly – I had a vegetarian option, which suited me perfectly. The hotel is located near the road – which can be a drawback due to the passing traffic. But even though the windows faced the road, the windows provided a sufficient barrier against noise. My stay was a pleasant one :)
I recommend the Smile Hotel. The staff is friendly and smiling, and the room was cleaned daily (invisibly :)). We received a room with a beautiful view and a spacious balcony, providing privacy. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, but that wasn't a problem for us – the center of Szczawnica is a 15-minute walk away. Kayaking opportunities are close by. Delicious food in the hotel restaurant. A large spa area, swimming pools, a jacuzzi, separate play areas for children, and billiards are also available. We were very pleased with our stay.

The hotel is very clean, with well-maintained rooms cleaned daily. The staff is smiling and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection. The location is excellent – close to the city center, yet quiet and peaceful. A big plus is the amenities for children – the swimming pool and playroom make it a great choice for families.
We returned yesterday from a two-week stay at the hotel. I highly recommend it! The food is excellent and very varied! The service was wonderful. The pool isn't large, but it's adequate. We used it a few times, and only once did other guests use it... we basically had it to ourselves. After hiking in the mountains, it was a wonderful way to relax. I highly recommend everything. PS: The potato pancakes were fantastic!
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the kayaking base (a 7-minute walk) and a 10-minute walk to Grajcarek, so my car was parked outside the hotel. However, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room, the cleanliness throughout, and above all, the comfortable bed. We've stayed in many higher-rated hotels in Szczawnica, but the Smile Hotel is just as good, and even surpasses them in terms of its unique microclimate (the Dunajec River on one side and the forest on the other, which gave us a feeling of freshness despite the intense heat). The staff was friendly and helpful, always available. We'll definitely be back when we organize a kayaking trip for the whole family. Best regards, Wiesław
We stayed there for two nights. The front desk staff was wonderful. We immediately received a wealth of information on where to go, what to see, and so on. The restaurant staff, all young compared to me, were very, very kind, helpful, and accommodating. And finally, the kitchen... you have to see for yourself what their chef does with the food. My partner and I were more than satisfied. Huge respect to the chef and the entire staff. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it to everyone.
